A 41-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and other crimes after police say that he castrated a paraplegic man at an assisted living home in Philadelphia.
Police said that Edgar Bonilla was visiting a female friend at the Inglis Apartments at Elmwood when the incident occurred on Monday.
“It appears as though our victim and the female had some sort of issue that the defendant believed he could handle and settle,” Philadelphia Police Southwest Detectives spokesperson John Walker explained to WPVI. “And unfortunately it turned into this horrific event that occurred.”

When Anne Belanger received her son’s grade two class photo last month, she immediately stuffed the image back into its envelope in disgust. In the photo, the students and teacher line up neatly in three rows. But one student is missing from the group.
I’m glad to know I’m not the only who has problems with their spines randomly adjusting itself!
Does anyone with #fibro have issues with your back adjusting itself? Like, I will just sit down (or stand up or whatever) and feel part of my spine pop. Just curious if this is a common thing or if I should be even more worried than usual?
I’m glad that Golden Girls brought attention to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome back in the 80s, but there was always one thing that bothered me about it. They devoted a two-part episode to Dorothy’s diagnosis, and then her CFS was NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN. I realize it’s TV, and this was probably one of those “very special episodes” so common in the 80s, but it would have been nice if it had been mentioned more throughout seasons 5-7.

Boyfriend spotted this on his way home from work. The only accessible parking space for this building is half taken up by a set of stairs to the front door. There’s no visible ramp to this building, although my best guess is that it’s in the back.
I believe that awning is for Folger & Burt Architectural Hardware Inc. Does the OP know if this is Folger & Burt’s parking? Because if it is, I’d like to contact them.
